We focus on providing timely feedback and practical treatment recommendations that are understandable to the individual, the family and the referral source. We consider the assessment process as a therapeutic process where the client learns new ways of thinking about him/her self, where families understand their patterns of functioning and what steps they need to take to make a change. Our goal is to use the psychosocial evaluation to provide greater insight into a psychological or family issue and identify clear and practical solutions to the problem.
A typical psychosocial assessment includes:
- Initial interview
- In-depth interview process
- Report writing
- Follow up session during which the clinician will go over the report and provide feedback to the individual or the family.
We accept Medicaid, self-pay and CSA funding. To initiate services or get additional information please contact the intake team, at 804) 225-0749 or click here to complete the form.
